Data Handling, Cookies and Account Security

We take a layered approach to protecting the information connected to your tabtouch account — from how cookies track your session to how long we retain your payment history.

Cookie Use

We use session cookies to keep you logged in and preference cookies to remember your lobby settings. Analytics cookies track page behaviour in aggregate only — no individual browsing profile is sold or shared with advertisers at any time.

Payment Data Handling

Your UPI VPA, Paytm wallet number and PhonePe references are transmitted over TLS-encrypted connections and stored in tokenised form. We never hold your full bank account credentials or card number on our servers after a transaction completes.

Account Security Practices

We enforce two-step verification at login and flag unusual access patterns automatically. If a sign-in attempt comes from an unfamiliar device or region, we email your registered address before allowing the session to proceed.

Data Retention Schedule

Active account data is retained while your account remains open. After account closure, transaction records are held for the period required by applicable financial regulations, then permanently deleted. We do not keep data longer than the law requires.

Who Can Access Your Data

Only authorised tabtouch staff with a legitimate operational need can access your personal data. Third-party payment processors handling UPI and Paytm flows are contractually bound to process your data solely for that transaction purpose.

Requesting Changes to Your Data

You can request a correction, download or deletion of your data at any time by contacting our privacy desk. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days, subject to any legal hold periods tied to your transaction history.

We collect your name, email address, mobile number, date of birth and the device details used at registration. Payment method identifiers — such as your UPI VPA or Paytm ID — are added when you make your first deposit.

We share data only with payment processors (UPI, Paytm, PhonePe) strictly to complete your transactions, and with fraud-prevention services as required. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to any marketing or advertising network.
